States that William W. had two sons, three daughters by his first marriage and only William L. of Renessalaer was living in 1899. He also had five children by the second marriage, of whom three were living, Melville a student at Purdue University, Ernest E. studying medicin, and Glenn still at home.
William W. was a commissioner of Newton Co, serving two terms, six years in all. He was a member of the Methodist church and had been for over 50 years.
