Benjamin Edwards Whitaker
(8 Jan 1797 - 6 Jan 1872)
Benjamin was born on a boat on the Monongahala River where it empties into the Ohio at Pittsburgh while his parents were moving to Kentucky. He married Susan Carolyn Gough on 9 Mar 1830 in Logan Co KY. They are both buried in the old Whitaker Graveyard. They had five children.
