In 1870, W. H. Remy lived as a widower with his two young daughters, Phoebe age 13 and Corelia age 11.

In 1880, elderly William Ramey and Elizabeth Baker, mother of Nancy & Charlotte, lived with William and Phoebe Ramey Morton.

Possibly married Nancy Baker Morton. He lived near the Mortons and Bakers. His wife had died in 1865 leaving him with at least three children still at home.

There are four graves on the Harry Small place at Uniontown, near the cemetery. William Remy who died 1903, his wife who died 1865 and two children of Will and Phoebe Remy Morton [William's daughter] - Bessie Morton and an unnamed son.
