p.2/7 Robert Lanier enters 50 acres bet lines of Abraham Creson, Giles Hudspeth & his own land including the Fishing Island in the river above the shallowford. 12 Feb 1778. Warrant granted.
p.2/8 Robert Lanier enters 550 acres bet the lines of John Saters on the North, his own land on the East, Thomas Johnston on the South & his own land, Kimbroughs estate on the West & David Hudspeths on the North. Both sides of the road from the Shallowford on the Yadkin to the Moravian Town. On head branches of Panter Creek, Reed Crk, & Allen's Branch. 12 Feb 1778. Warrant granted.

Slaves listed in the inventory: Jacob, alias Richard Cain, Young Jacob, Cary, Sam, Jack, Titus, Riner, Charlotte, Such & Peter, Dick in possession of Giles Hudspeth which Negro is in dispute. Also Arthur, Davey, Sipes, Pompey, Janny, Cloe & Stepney which were taken by the British Tories and not yet recovered. img.73
26 May 1798 Subpeona issued for Joseph Williams & Francis Poindexter, Executors of the estate. Francis obviously acting for his wife - he signed many of the receipts.
By February of 1804, Joseph Williams and Jane Poindexter were executors and still dealing with lawsuits and debts. Francis Poindexter now deceased as well.
