She died of pulmonary edema due to exhaustion caused by confinement to bed from fracture of the thigh. She was the widow of Robert W. Taylor. Born Hawesville, KY, 22 Feb 1845. Parents listed as George W. McAdams, born Nelson Co, KY and Dorcas Comstock, b. Hancock Co, KY. Josephine N. Taylor of the address, was the informant. Buried Cave Hill Cemetery on July 10th.

"Taylor - At the Kentucky Baptist Hospital at 6:10 p.m., July 8, Mrs. Hester McAdams Taylor, widow of the late Dr. R. W. Taylor, age 84 years. Funeral from her residence, No. 3 Eastover Court, at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 10. Interment in Cave Hill Cemetery."
