Will of William Furbush of St. Ann Parish. Land in Amherst County on Ruckers Run, 179 1/2 acres, to son William Furbush. Land in Albemarle County where he now lives, to son Robert Furbush. Land in Kent County, 50 acres, to be sold and divided between four sons and two girls, Children named as William, Robert, Sarah, John, Thomas. Wife Sarah.

July 28, 1788 Charles Statham is named as executor of William Furbush, Deceased
"On July 28, 1788, at Amherst County, Viginia, County Court, Virginia State Library Loose Papers
Box 183, a summons was issued to Robert Wright and James Wright in a lawsuit:
[ The Commonwealth of Virginia. To the Sheriff of Amherst County, greetings: You are hereby Commanded that you Summon Robert Wright, William Fitzpatrick, James Wright and Joseph Roberts to appear before the Justices of our County Court of Amherst at the Courthouse of the said County on the first Monday in August Next to Testify and the truth to say on behalf of Charles Statham Exor of William Furbush Decd. In a certain matter of Controversy Depending and undetermined between the said Stathem Exor of W. Furbush Deed Pltf and Charles Stewart Deft.
And this they shall in no wise omit under the Penalty 100 pounds Each. And have then there this Writ. Witness William Loving Clerk of our said Court at the Courthouse aforesaid the 28th Day of July 1788 In the thirteenth Year of our Commonwealth. Wm Loving

There is a possible daughter named Susanna who married John Jones in 1793 and had one son named Benjamin Haden Jones before she died. DKH names two more possible sons as an Anthony and a Joseph that likely came from the research of one Mattie Haden - I find nothing to indicate they existed.
