FUNERAL SERVICES CONDUCTED SUNDAY FOR JOE D. hADEN, 28
Funeralservices were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Springcreek church for Joseph Douglas Haden, 28, who died Dec 15 in Redding, CA, after sustaining a skull fracture in a thirty foot fall off a porch. The service was read by the Rev. Mrs. Maud Dixon. Burial was in the Springcreek Cemetery...

Young Haden was born September 27, 1911, at McClug. When he was 8 years old his parents moved to Smallett. Most of his life he spent in Douglas County, The past four years he has been a resident of California.
An older brother, James Archie Haden, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Esther, his parents, Mr. & Mrs. R. C. Haden of SMallett, a brother, Quentin, of Smallett; and four sisters, Madge and Mary Mae Haden and Mrs. Arthur F. Johnson of Smallett and Mrs. Ray H. Field of Los Angeles.
