There are two Rachel Aldriches which have been placed as the wife of William Comstock.
David Aldrich, born 26 Jul 1711, Mendon, Worcester Co MA, was married to Sarah Benson and had a daughter Rachel born 20 Jul 1746 in Douglas, Worcester Co MA. Some databases do show that this Rachel married Edward Trask, 17 Nov 1763 in Mendon. The marriage also recorded in Douglas where Edward is stated to be "of Smithfield".
Peter Aldrich, born 19 Mar 1719 in Mendon, Worcestoer Co MA, married Miriam Ray. His daughter Rachel was born 10 Jan 1742 in Mendon, Worcester Co MA. Peter and Miriam were married in Smithfield, RI. It seems most likely she is the correct Rachel.
David and Peter were brothers, sons of David Aldrich & Hannah Capron.
