ODESSA Ruby McWilliams went to be with the Lord Friday, March 14, 2003, at the age of 79. Ruby was known in her earlier days as Sister. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She had a mind for business even though she didnt complete her high school education. She was a beautician, landlord and took care of her mother, Emma, for four years. Ruby had an outgoing personality and a great smile. She had a kind and gentle heart that went out to those less fortunate. She loved her dog, Dixie, and her new dog, Coco. She loved to listen to classical music in her beautiful home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Emma Seabolt; her brothers, Harold, Eugene and Charles; and a sister, Wanda and her husband, Frank Vice. She is survived by two sons, David Pool and his wife, Laura of Odessa, and Steven Randel and his wife, Dianna, of Odessa; three stepchildren, Frank Vice of Florida, Archie Vice of Arkansas, and Linda of New Mexico; five grandchildren, Joe Pool, James Pool, John Pool, Susan Lee, and Sarah Scott; and 12 grandchildren, Chelc, Aubrey, Brody, Kolby, John Jr., Courtnee, Gary, Rita, Kayla, Tyler, Jacob and Brandon. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Crescent Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill section of the Ector County Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2003, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
