Camden, Ohio - Elbert Bailey 84, 9408 Short Road, Camden, died Wednesday night at Heartland of Eaton Care Center.
He was a native of Pittsburg, KY, and a retired carpenter. His wife, Clista Baily, died in 1949 and a son Charles Bailey, died in 1974.
Survivors include four daughters, Jamie Thompson of Louisville, KY, Kathleen Bailey and Janet Weese, both of Dayton, and Thelma Johnson, with whom he lived; seven sons: Kenneth of Dayton, Leon of Clarksburg, WVa., Theodore of Phoeex, Ariz., Keith of Louisville, KY, Elwwod of Sumter, SC., Elbert Jr. of Pensacola, Fla., and Phil of Pasadena, Calif; 30 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Stanley of Chicago, IL, Lloyd of Columbus, OH, and Boyd of Dayton; two sisters, Edna Meyer of Phoenix and Ida Lakes of Chicago.
Graveside service and burial will be Friday afternoon at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Howard Meadors officiating.
