SS Man Dies After Home Fire
Services are being held at 3:30 pm Wednesday for Bud Shirly Stacy, 42, of Sand Springs at the Mobley-Dawson-Lakeside Chapel.
Stacy was pulled from his buring apartment in Sand Springs early Monday and died a few hours later in a Tulsa hospital, officials said.
Stacy was given artificial resperation at the scene, but died shortly after his arrival at Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital.
The fire was confined to Stacy's apartment, officials said.
A long-time Heavener resident, Stacy moved to Sand Springs four years ago.
Stacy was a retire iron worker of the Riverside Industries of Tulsa.
Stacy is survided by his mother, Lona Stacy of Heavener; five sisters, Liilie Caughren of Heavener, Beatrice Lopez of Oklahoma City, and Betty Kennerson and Lillian Kennerson both of El Centro, CA.
Survivors also include two brothers, O. B. and Charles Stacy both of Hevener; a daughter, Shirley Childers of Sand Springs, and two Grandchildren.
Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery in Sand Springs immediately after services.
