Marriage Vows for Conser Couple Read at Mena
Miss Lille Mae Stacy, daughter of Mrs. Lona Stacy, Conser, and Odie E. Caughern, son of Mr. & Mrs. G. C. Caughern, also of Conser, were married at Mena, Ark., Saturday, June 14.
Mrs. Caughern is a graduate of Hevener high school and during the war worked in defense plants in Chicago, Ill.
The groom served as SSML2/c in the Navy for four years, spending the entire time on thew DD367. Since being discharged last August he has been employed at the Burnett Lumber Company.
Those attending the wedding were: O. B. Stacy, brother of the bride, Mr. & Mrs. Estes Luman of Heavener, and Mr. & Mrs. Jack Mead of Hodgen.
The couple left Wednesday for Modesto, CA, where they will make their home.
