Mrs. Elizabeth Curt, formerly of Emporia, died June 28, of heart failure, at Floris, Okla.
Elizabeth A. Rich, was born October 1873, on a farm three miles northeast of Emporia. She spent all her life, with the exception of the past eight years, in and near Emporia. She was married to Clarence N. Curt, August 31, 1893, and to them were born four daughters and two sons. mrs. Bertha Green of Parsons, Kan.; Gladys, Ruth and Bernice Curt, Ernest and Earl Curt of Floris, all of whom, with her husband, survive her. Mrs. Curt is suvived also by her mother, Mrs. Mary Rich of Larned; seven brothers; Andrew Rich of Aurora, Ore.; Alfred and Delbert Rick of Omaha, Nebr.; Irvin Rich, of Kansas City, Mo.; Francis Rich of Larned; Stacy and Alvin Rich of Emporia; and two sisters, Mrs. W. M. Chance of Woodworth, Mont., ___Bucklin, Kan.; and one small granddaughter, Mary Louisa Green of Parsons.
