When John Cook died, the settlement of estate indicated that his wife Rebecca was a second wife and had previously been married.
1840. Settlement of her estate by William Hill and Sam Brown (Executors) indicated that her first husband, Richard Hill, died in 1818 and that she and John Crook Sr. did not have children. Her maiden name may have been Robinson.
