MONTGOMERY, LONNIE H.
Lonnie H. Montgomery, age 58, of Roanoke, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 1991, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born September 29, 1932, in Hillsville and was the son of the late William Henry and Valeria Montgomery. He was a body shop manager for Fulton Motor Co. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ila M. Gardner Montgomery; one son, Ronald H. Montgomery, Roanoke; two brothers, Mr. Brooks Montgomery, Hillsville; Mr. Marvin Montgomery, Placentia, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Jean Alderman, Santa Anna, Calif.; Mrs. Canary Grimsley, Va. Beach; Mrs. Patricia Pledger, Richmond. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, May 4 at 11:00 a.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel conducted by Rev. Wayne Petty. Burial will follow in the Independence Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home, Hillsville.
