Daniel and Octavia were married on Dec 5, 1895 in Franklin, Robertson, Texas.
Daniel was a farmer early in their married life. He later worked as a car inspector for the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad in Waco. He was living with daughter, Sherma Williams, at the time of his death.
McDONALD RITES TO BE TUESDAY
Funeral servies for Daniel P. McDonald, 92, of 2008 South Seventh St, will be Tuesday in Compton's Chapel. Rev. A. C. Lane will officiate with burial in Rosemound Cemetery.
Mr. McDonald died Sunday morning in the Providence hospital in Waco.
He was born in Mississippi and had lived in Waco for 60 years.
Survivors are daughter, Mrs. M. H. Williams of Waco; sister, Mrs. Nannie Nunnalee of Tyler; and brothers, Theodore McDonald of Pleasanton and Fred McDonald of Dallas.
