18 Sep 1858. Sale of personal estate - buyers included J. L. Crabtree,James Stubblefield, Gideon Mainard, John Byrnum, Thomas Aldridge, John Council, Oliver Mainard
26 Oct 1858. Rebecca, the widow, and James O. Mainard signed an agreement that he would maintina Rebecca during her natursl life and furnsh her with comfortable clothing. She gives to him all personal property, house and kitchen furniture she might posses at her death.

John W. Crabtree, adminstrator vs Rebecca Mainard and James O. Mainard. James was holding a large sum of money - about $2300. Rebecca and James had wrongfully took possession of the money and withheld it from the admiistrator. Rebecca had told him she had a coffee pot full of money. Those that testified: Marion Haggard, Gideon Mainard, Hugh Rigney, Louisa Mainard, Elizabeth Mainard, Emiline Rigney, Mary Bynum
