Leonard Vail Dies in Chicago at 47
Oscar Vail, 1005 South Low Street, with his daughter, Miss Dorothy Vail, went to Chicago Friday in response to a message announcing the death Thursday afternoon of his brother, Leonard Vail.
The latter, 46 years old, was a former resident of Bloomington, where he was employed in the Alton shops. He had lived for the last 10 years in Melrose Park, where he was employed by the Northwestern Railway shops.
Mr. Vail had been ill for more than a year and confined in a hospital since March. He is survived by his widow, fourd children, Chicagp; mother and brother, Raymond in Beardstown, and the brother here. Mrs. Oscar Vail and a son will go to Chicago to attend the funeral, arrangements for which are not complete.
