Kenneth Oral Moore, 56, a lifelong resident of Tygh Valley, died at the local hospital, Sunday, May 8, 2011.
He was born Nov 21, 1954 in The Dalles, the third of five children to Thomas and Lola Ann (Maurer) Moore. He grew up in Tygh Valley, graduating from Wasco County Union High School
He married Virginia Moore, who preceded him in death in 1999. He later married Tami Jackson. He worked as a sawyer in the lumber industry and as a maintenance mechanic at the Cherry Growers. He was a member of Maupin Community Church and Tygh Valley Methodist Church and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Tami Moore: his children, Chad Moore and wife Rachael, Bayfield Colo., and Tyrell Hogenkamp and her husband Timothy of Maupin; his step-daughter, Gatlin Webb; his brother, Timothy Moore; his two sisters, Linda Peterson and Theresa Dibartolo; his grand children, Shane Thomas Moore, Madelyn Moore, Blake Moore, Baily Hogenkamp, Cameron Hogenkamp and Taylor Hogencamp.
....A Graveside memorial service will be Saturday, May 14, at 10:30 am at Tygh Valley Cemetery....
