Julia R. Edwards died 16 Nov 1977 at the Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Delaware Co of cerebral thrombosis and heart disease. She was married to Joseph J. Edwards who was the informant. She was born 15 Apr 1902 in Delaware Co. Her father was John Garner; her mother Jane Lake. buried Jones Cemetery on Nov 19th.

Services for Mrs. Julia R. Edwards, 75, 1316 W. Main, wife of Joseph J. Edwards, who died Wednesday at Ball Hospital, will be conducted at 10 am Saturday in the Meeks Mortuary.
Rev. Jeffrey G. Snyder, pastor of the Normal City United Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Jones Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 7-9 pm Thursday and 3-5 and 7-9 pm Friday.
Mrs. Edwards was a native of Harrison Township and attended the Harrison Township schools. She was a member of the Normal City United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Wright, Flint, Mich., a sister, Mrs. Martie Applegate, Muncie; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her only son, Marshall Lee Edwards, was killed in an auto accident six years ago.
