Individual Details
Robert Jarratt
(1698 - Abt 1740)
Robert's son, Rev. Devereux Jarratt said his father was a carpenter. He states there were six children, two of which died in infancy; only three sons and a daughter living to maturity.
In 1751 & 1755, Robert Jarratt was a processioner along with his brother-in-law Walter Clopton.
Son Devereux stated in his letters that he was 6 or 7 when his father died suddenly of taking a dose of tartar emetic. There was no will, so son Robert inherited all the landed estate.
