In 1851, O. Turner, listed Dr. Orrin Allen as "a resident of Virginia".

1840 Census. I found a O.N. Allen in Jessamine Co KY - he and his probable spouse were both age 20-30. No children. I doubt this is the same man.

In 1849, when brother-in-law Robert L. Rose took brother Nathaniel's will for probate, Orrin N. Allen of Culpepper Co [no state - presumably Culpeper Co, Virginia] was said to be the only living heir - a nephew of Nathaniel O.
