Liston died at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital in Sulphur Springs; his home in Como. He died 15 Dec 1972 of chronic nephritis; a note says he had one kidney removed many years ago. He was a Stockman. Born 18 Dec 1886 in Fannin Co, TX, he was 85 when he died.

Liston and Stella are buried Ladonia Cemetery, Fannin Co TX.

Liston E. Fry, 86-year-old Como rancher and a native of Ladonia, died Friday, Dec 15, 1972 in a Sulphur Springs hospital.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, 2 o'clock, at the Como Baptist Church of which he had been a member for many years, with the Rev. L. B. Morgann and the Rev. Blake Dunigan officiating.
Graveside services will follow at 4 o'clock pm Sunday at IOOF Cemetery at Ladonia. Delta Funeral Home of Ladonia is in charge.
Mr. Fry was born Dec. 18, 1886, in Ladonia, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Fritz Edward Fry. He had lived at Como since 1918.
He was married in 1915 to Stella Wilkins, who preceded him in death in 1953. Survivors include two nephews, B. E. Fry of Ladonia and Albert Fry of Paris and one niece, Mrs. John Rattan of Ladonia...
