Age 56 died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Evangelical Home in Saline. She was born on June 25, 1960 in Monroe, Michigan to Glen and Gertrude (Fultz) Hurst. Nancy attended school at the Monroe County ISD and was active with the local county chapter of the Special Olympics. She enjoyed bowling, swimming, camping, going places with her family and to the beach at Tawas, dancing and singing. Her favorite song artist included John Denver and Reba McIntyre. Over the last several years she looked forward to attending the Thursday group at Aid in Milan to do activities and be with friends.
She is survived by two sisters, JoAnn (Steve) Wilcox of Dundee, Gwen (Michael) Donahue of Adrian, nine brothers: Odell (Eloise) of Tennessee, Hollis of Florida, Phillip of Glennie, MI , Jerry (Linda) of Maybee, Archie (Barbara) of Adrian, Farris (Marcia) of Milan, Coney (Patricia) of Pennsylvania, Mark (Patricia) of Colorado, Cyle (Christina) of Adrian, a brother-in-law Lee Smith of Ridgeway as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Judy Smith.
Visitation will be held at Ochalek-Stark Funeral Home, Milan on Wednesday, June 29th at 1:00pm with funeral service beginning at 2:30pm. Burial will follow at Marble Park Cemetery, Milan. Those desiring may make contributions to the Thursday group through Aid in Milan.
