[Pat Reid's note says he lived in Texas for 81 years. If this is true, the family likely moved there in 1860; some of his siblings would have been born in Texas. However, James was still in Warren Co KY in 1870, living with his parents. Fifty-one years in Texas seems more likely.]
In 1880, James & Georgia were living in Litchfield, Grayson Co Kentucky:
James W. Haden, age 28, physician, b. KY as were his parents.
Georgia, age 22, wife, b. TN, father b. TN, mother b. VA
Margaret House, age 13, sister-in-law, lived with them. She was born in KY.
Mathew W. Cunningham, age 29, clerk in a store, apparently a boarder.

James W. Haden & wife, living in Lamar Co, Texas. James stated he was born in Bowling Green KY on 12 Nov 1851 and his wife Georgia was born at Fountain Head, Tennessee, Sep of 1857. His father was a native citizen of the U.S. His permanent residence was Paris, Texas, where he was a Physician. In intended to return to the U.S. in September or October of 1889. The application was sworn to on 22 May 1889. James was 37 years old, 5' 7 1/2 " tall, gray to dark blue eyes, black hair. His face was described as "full and round".
