Halifax Deed Book 13, p.325. 22 Feb 1775. Burwell Pope and Priscilla of Wake Co to Nicholas Long. Col. Barnaby McKinnie by his LW&T dated 13 Aug 1737 devised the said tract to his daughter Mourning in fee tail which said daughter Mourning intermarried with John Pope and had issue to wit Henry Pope & Burwell Pope since which said Henry Pope is dead and the said land descended to Burwell Pope.
