Claims a sister to Samuel as Susan Anne Johnston Currie, b. 6 Jan 1843, d. 12 Oct 1896, Crockett, Houston Co, TX, wife of James Thomas Currie. I wonder if instead, Caroline was the MOTHER of Samuel & Susan? And, in fact, she was - see the 1850 census - but there is no sister Susan who would have been age 7.
