Thomas Adam Critcher

From family bio, probably a Watauga Co "brag" book: T. Adam (1844-1913) was an outstanding and much respected citizen of Watauga County. He owned a great deal of land in the Bamboo area and helped establish the old Watauga County Bank. Adam was married twice: the first time to Maggie Carlton of Wilkes and the second time Molly Brookshire. Six children, three boys and three girls - Calvin, Mllard, Mansfield, Iola, Bertie & Geneva.
Married Margaret Susanna "Maggie" Carlton, b. 5 Jul 1855, d. 1 May 1877.
She is buried Critcher Cemetery, Wautaga Co. Thomas is buried Laurel Fork Cemetery in Boone, Watauga Co, NC
