FRANK MIMS DIED
Franklin Moses Mims, age 70, died at a local hosptial last Thursday, April 6th, about 7 o'clock AM following a brief illness. Services were held at Temple Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. a. T. Hickman. Grandsons served as pallbearers; Spigener in charge of arrangements.
Besides the wife, Mrs. Eda Wilson Mims, surviving are two sons - Jack and Lester, of Clanton; two daughters - Mrs. Marion Thompson and Mrs. Vanness Mims, both of Clanton, Rte 2. There are two stepsons - Acie Mims of Columbiana, and Charlie Mims of Montgomery; two stepdaughters - Mrs. Annie Pearl Wyatt and Mrs. William Mims; one half brother, Jacie Baker of Clanton Rte 1. There are 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
