Clarence Comstock died 25 Jul 1953, Los Angeles County General Hospital of gastric and intestinal hemorrhage complicated with cirrhosis of the liver (alcoholic), jaundiced and had uremia. His usual address was 1200 N. State St, Los Angles - he had lived there for two years. He was a Salesman, used cars. born 24 Nov 1901 in Missouri. His father was Elijah Comstock, b. TN; his mother unknown. He was married - present spouse, Oma Comstock and she was the informant. Buried Jul 28th, Inglewood Park Cemebery.

Former Area Resident Dies in Los Angeles
A former resident of this area, Clarence "Percy" Comstock, 51, died Friday in Los Angeles, Calif.
He was born Nov. 24, 1901 at Vanduser and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Oma Comstock, of Los Angeles; a daughter Mrs. Patsy Johnson, of Tulsa, Okla; his father, Lige Comstock, of Sikeston; a brother, Claude of Sikeston; two nephews, Leo Comstock of Sikeston, and Omar Comstock, of Los Angeles; a niece Mrs. Bell Rister of Sikeston; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. today in the Utter-McKinley Mortuary in Los Angeles. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery there.
