Claude Harris Comstock died on 10 Dec 1956 in Sikeston, Scott Co where he had lived for his entire life. His residence at the timeof his death from an acute coronary thrombosis was 619 E. Glayds. He was born 22 Oct 1891 in Vanduser, MO; age 65 at his death. He was married, his wife's name Myrtle. His business was painting - listed as interior Decorator. His father was Elijah B. Comstock; his mother Maggie Gibbs. Mrs. C. H. Comstock was the informer. He was buried Garden of Memories in Sikeston, MO.

Claud Comstock Dies Suddenly Monday Night
Claud Comstock died suddenly of a heart ailment at 9:30 last night at his home, 619 E. Gladys St. He was aged 65 years, having been born Oct. 22, 1891, at Vanduser, the son of the late E. G. and Maggie Comstock. Since 1926 he had resided in Sikeston and was engaged in interior decorating. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include the wife, the former Miss Myrtle Hamilton: two sons, Omer and Leo Comstock of Sikeston; a daughter, Mrs. Bernadine Rister of Sikeston, and nine grandchildren.
