Samuel R. Proctor married Sally Brashears, 16 Jan 1833, Logan Co Marriage, Book 1, p.103

Records have suggested he and his sister Matilda were born the same year, but I suspect one or the other was about 18 months older than the other.

Samuel R. Proctor, 37. Sally H., 34. E. M., 14, female. Nancy, 11. James W., 8. M. J., 6, female. E. H., 4, female. Sally A, age 2 and John L/S age two months. Whole family born in Kentucky. This would make Samuel also born in 1813 - the same year as Matilda - one of the ages is off a bit.
