Belinda/Malinda Poindexter

Although the Poindexter book says she married Daniel Combs - it was Malinda Poindexter, daughter of James & Sarah Poindexter that married Daniel Combs - the relationship is made clear in a court case in 1865 concerning the inheriftance of James (by then deceased) and his siblings - James' share descended to his children, one of whom was Melinda, wife of Daniel Combs.
There may have been no such daughter of Archibald Pledge Poindexter.
