A Dyanna Lynch died 15 Oct 1935 in Estill Co, age 75. She is shown as having died at the County Farm. She is shown as widowed, age 75, on her death certificate - no date of birth, no parents known. Buried at the county farm. The 1930 census shows her working as a servant in a private home - again marked as a widow which brings into question her surname. However descendants of this line believe she was another child of Calvin and Susan Gabbard.

Records show there may have been two Calvins that served in the Civil War.
There is a death record for a Calvin Lynch of Company E, 47th KY Inf - who died 6 Mar 1865. His place of death given as G. H. (General Hospital) Lexington KY. He died of Pneumonia. There are names in the "Remarks" column - I have no clue what they mean - perhaps the person reporting the death. The name for Calvin was J. G. Hatchett, S.U.S.V.

A Calvin Lynch enlisted in the Union Army, at Irvine (Estill Co) on 24 Jun 1863. Another record with the enlistment date of 1863, lists Calvin as age 23, enlisted in Co K-P, 47th Inf. - this is the same unit as the man who died in Lexington.
