Lettie's birth is a bit of a puzzle. Both her death and marriage records suggest she was born about 1867-1868. Death record states her parents as William & Louisa Mims. Her grave marker has her birth as 12 Sep 1870. In 1880, she is listed as a six-year-old, or born about 1874 (she isn't listed with her family at all in 1870). I would guess the grave marker is more likely correct and would explain why she isn't in the 1870 census, but old enough to marry in 1886.
