PAYTON MIMS PASSES
Payton Mims, age 86, died sunday, October 13, about 7 am. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 pm at Cane Creek church with the Rev. W. P. Lowery conducting the services.
He is survived by two sons, Irvin of Clanton, and Oscar of Sand Mountain; two daughters, Mrs. Susie Cleckler, Route 2, and Ella Bailey of Clanton. Twenty grandchildren also mourn his passing...
