Some have tried to give James McKimmey two daughters named Rachel - one born to each wife. However, James McKimmey's will only named Rachael West. The older Rachel is shown as married to Adam Kindall or Kendall but that it is an error. Adam married (1) Araminta McKinney, 28 Oct 1818, Wayne Co IN - she could well have been James's sister. Adam then married Rachel Bishop, license issued 16 ov 1839 in Henry Co where she is found as a widow in 1850, still living in Henry Co, IN.

This Rachael may have been a twin to David - both are given as age 1 in 1850, but he did not survive until 1860. She married Oliver P. West, 10 December 1868, in Delaware Co IN.
