Funeral services for Maurice B. Gabbard, 56, who died Tuesday morning at Eloy, were conducted Wednesday by Rev. Terry L. Smith, pastor of the Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Gabbard was born in Kentucky June 29, 1881, the son of William Riley Gabbard and Sarah Ann Peters. He married Ollie Elizabeth Bruner Aug. 7, 1908 at St. Paul, Arkansas.
He leaves his wife; two sons, Bert and Claude, of Eloy; three daughters: Edna Hillman, Eloy, Elsie Horton, Eloy, and Millie Gabbard, Eloy; three brothers; and two sisters.
Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery. Services were in charge of the Porter, Cole and Maud Mortuary.

Mountain View Cemetery is in Casa Grande, Pinal County, Arizona.

Ollie (Bruner) Gabbard, born 11 Nov 1890, St. Paul, Madison Co AR, died 15 May 1995, Klamath Falls, Oregon.
Wife Ollie's obituary on FindAGrace states that they were married 11 Aug 1907, Huntsville, AR. In 1945, she married Oscar Mitchell in Las Vegas and they lived in Corcoran, CA. He died in 1961. She married her third husband, Joseph Pike in 1964 in Gridley, CA, but returned to her home in Corcorcan when he died in 1967. She later made her home with her son Burt, until he died in 1982. Ollie moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon, to with with her daughter Elsie and son-in-law Ray Yarbrough. The last four years prior to her death she had lived with her granddaugher and her husband, Jessie & Earl Anderson. She had 114 living descendants at the time of her death, age 104 - her son Burt and daughters Elva and Nellie had predeceased their mother.
