1850 Census, Schuyler Co MO, John, age 47 lives with his brother James Warren Jr. Listed as "Idiot". In 1860 he's in the household of his niece Hannah Wood Hensley in Lawrence Co. AR.
Strangely enough there is a Madison Co KY marriage for John Wood of Clark Co, to Pheby Skinner. Bond dated 12 Dec 1820, with Charles Bevins as bondsman. James Wood, father of the groom, and Joseph Skinner, father of the bride, gave their consent. Minister's return was dated 20 Dec 1820. The 1810 and 1820 censuses both have a James Wood living in Madison and Clark counties, so it is possible this is not this John Wood, but more likely of the Clark Co family.
