A Lewis is on the 1790 Census in Orange Co, NC and one in Moore Co, NC. The other four names appear on the 1790 Census in Pendleton Dist, SC. (Granted there are two James in Randolph Co, NC, and a Thomas in Rockingham Co and in Sampson Co.)

Enoch isn’t there in 1800, but is on 1810—the age bracket would suggest he was missed in 1800 or his name has been incorrectly transcribed/indexed, as he is in his 20s in 1790, [would be 30s in 1800], and 40s in 1810. This Enoch is the only one on the 1810 Census for the nation. He is no longer in SC in 1820 and beyond . . .
