John was named as eldest son in his father's will. The abstract of the will I found online is not dated, nor does it state the county. However, John was not yet of age. By 7 Nov 1726, the widow Mary Garner was giving her daughter Susanna and her husband, Thomas Seddon, a deed for 378 acres that had descended to Mary from her father Charles Bushnell, Stafford Co VA. Both of these documents need to be examined for accuracy. The sons were all given tracks of land, 400 acres, presumably in Stafford Co which should have some sort of disposition in later years.
