On Thursday, March 1st, at the home of the Rev. A. T. Hickman in Clanton, occured the marriage of Miss Mildred Lorene Mims and Mr. Elijah M. Thomas, Jr., The vows were read by the Rev. Hickman.
After a few days spent in Centreville, the young couple returned to Clanton to make their home at 403 5th St & 4th Ave.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Mims of Clanton, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Thomas, also of Clanton.
