Anderson Mims, age 23, enlisted at Prattville, AL, on 18 March 1862 in Co. D of the 4th AL Volunteer Militia. This was Byrd's Regiment, Ninety Day Volunteers. Discharged by Special Ord. No. 108, May 18, 1862. Copy of his certificate of discharge is on Fold3. He was 5'10" with hazel eyes, black hair, a farmer.

Find A Grave Memorial# 71138646. Confederate Soldier's grave, Magnolia Cemetery, Mobile. Died 24 Aug 1862 "And Mimms" I have no idea if this is Anderson, but probably.

Mrs. Rebecca Mims, married Henry Ausborn on 15 Nov 1865, Autauga Co, AL. She is found with him in subsequent censuses.

Ed Mims, John Mims, and Sis Driver (Mary E.) are entitled to an undivided 1/11 interest as the hears at law of Anderson Mims, deceased who was an heir of Edward Mims, Deceased.
