Benjamin Cave

(1703 - Bef 26 Aug 1763)

Traditions. Cave family came from England. Benjamin Cave, the immigrant ancestor of this line, was born at Windsor between 1684 and 1691, where his father, the revered William Cave, was canon; his mother was Anna Stonehouse daughter of the Reverend Walter Stonehouse. [This line of descent is highly questionable, see next.]

I have also seen a year of birth for Benjamin Cave as 1703 in Virginia which seems to be a more reasonable date. Father said to be possibly a John Cave of King & Queen Co VA.
