BELLS - Funeral services for Irrel E. Brown, 68, who died at his home Tuesday, April 4, 1967, after suffering a heart attack, were to be held at Mullican-Little Funeral chapel at 2:30 pm Thursday.
...Interment was to be in the Rose Hill Cemetery
Mr. Brown was born Sep 2, 1898, in the Pink Hill community, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Brown. He married Miss Mae McCollum at Trenton, Dec 10, 1922
Mr. Brown was a former deputy sheriff and deputy tax assessor and an employee of Hardwicke-Etter of Sherman. He was serving as president of the Pink Hill Water Supply Corporation at the time of this death.
He was a member of the Pink Hill Baptist church and the Bells Masonic Lodge.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Mae Brown of the home; two sons Harold Ray Brown of Bells and Roy Lee Brown of Paris; three brothers, Cecil Brown of Plainview, Marvin Brown of Sherman, and Paul Brown of Denver, Colo.; four sisters, Mrs. Nell Ford, Miss Velma Brown and Mrs. Jeannette Brown, all of Bells, and Mrs. Lily Dillon of Whitewright and two grandchildren.
Masons had charge of the graveside services.
