Father listed as John Murphy Brown, b. Kentucky [the ONLY place I've seen the "John" attached to Murphy Brown's name]. Mother was Rebecca Poindexter, also b. Kentucky. [Poindexter was her middle name - her maiden name was Jones.]
Mrs. L. G. Brown was the informant.
He was buried on 20 Feb at Chitwood Cemetery.
