John is buried Wethersfield Village Cemetery, Wethersfield, Hartford Co CT. His gravestone has his wives as Sarah and Mercy and the dates do not agree with the story he married two Chatterton sisters, Mercy and then Mary. And, in fact, Mary Chatterton seems to have married someone else entirely.

His parents evidently Robert Francis, d. 2 Jan 1711, age 83, and Joan his wife who died 29 Jan 1705, age 76.
John died 28 Dec 1711, age 53.
Sarah his wife, died 3 Apr 1682, age 24.
Mercy, his wife, died 13 Oct 1745, age 82

Elizabeth his wife, d. 20 May 1767, age 63
