There was a Robert Stockton living in Cumberland Co KY. There were also the heirs of John Stockton of Pittsylvania Co VA who came to this area- and a Robert was not named among these. I cannot positively identify the Robert in Cumberland as being this Robert, son of the Rev. Robert & Catherine Blakey but some Stockton researchers seem to think so. I include Cumberland records I have found - however, there is also indication that Robert, son of Rev. Robert & Catherine Blakely remained right there in Barren Co KY:
1810 Cumberland Co KY census, p.177. Robert Stockton, age 26-45, 1m under 10, 1f also 26-45.
Cumberland Co KY DB B

p.469 10 Sep 1814 Richard Cumpton of Green Co KY to the Heirs of Robert Stockton Dec'd of Cumberland. $10,000. Robert Stockton paid Richard Cumpton in 1802. Tract on N side of Cumberland R on Sulpher Lick Crk. Signed: Richd Cumpton. Wit: Elias Barbee, Thomas Bass. Rec. Cumberland 18 Jan 1815.
Cumberland Co KY DB C, 1815. Elias & Elizabeth Barbee sold land to the heirs of Robert Stockton. [Index posted on SOUTH-CENTRAL-KENTUCKY-L@rootsweb.com]
p.100 27 Oct 1815 Elias Barbee & Elizabeth his wife to the heirs of Robert Stockton dec'd late of Cumberland. Thirty hundred dollars [maybe should have been $300?]. All that tract in Cumberland on S side of Cumberland R. 421 ½ acres. Line of Elias Barbee's survey of 200 acres, corner in a swamp, Sarah Kirkpatrick line. Signed: Elias Barbee, Elizabeth Barbee. Elizabeth relinquished dower. Rec. 8 Jul 1816
Barren Co KY records which contradict the fact that this is the Robert Stockton found in Cumberland Co::
Probably the daughter of Robert Jr - it would appear that Robert was deceased given that Nancy gave permission, but see next record.

BARREN CO - ORDER BOOK 4 - NOV 1817
17 Nov 1817
Robert STOCKTON, John FARISH & E[dmund] ROGERS to appraise estate
and slaves of Martha ROGERS, executor of Bird ROGERS.
Was this record actually a record of Reuben Stockton rather than Robert? There are several unanswered questions that I'll leave to Stockton researchers.
