John Barney Robertson died at St. Lukes Hopital on 9 Jun 1946 at 2:19 AM. He was married; his wife's name Ethel. He was an Electrician, age 41, born in Van Buren, AR. His wife was notified.
Description: 5'7", 200 lbs., brown eyes, iron grey hair.
Facts to be proven at inquest:
"The deceased resided with his wife at 447 Bush Street and was employed as an electrician by the Ets-Hokin-Galvan Co. On 5/29/46, he was supposedly spraying some electrical equipment with carbon tetrachloride on a tug at Pier 19, when he supposedly became overcome by fumes with ensuing nausea. He had no medical attention at the time but complained severe back pains at home the same evening and 2 days later became worse. He was admitted ambulatory to St. Lukes Hospital at 5:00 PM 6/5/46 for treatment of above by Dr. Castlehun. About 1:30 AM 6/9/46, he suddenly became complained of shortness of breath and was treated by Dr. Brown but died at 2:19 AM, 6/9/46. There is supposedly no other medical history."
