Married first to Malinda A. Peters, 28 Jul 1889 - she died before July of 1898.

Although both Joel and Nettie are said to be buried Yoestown Cemetery, FindAGrave has no picture of their stones and they are not listed in the Crawford Co Cemetery book which was compiled in the late 1960's.

Robertson Funeral to Be Held Wednesday
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at the Ocker Funeral Home chapel for Joe A. Robertson, 71 years old, who died at 12:30 am Tuesday at the home on Picket Hill in East Van Buren, after an illness of three weeks.
... a resident of Crawford county for 45 years, Mr. Robertson is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nettie Robertson; three daughters, Miss Thresa Pearl Robertson of the home, Mrs. Susie Cudd, Madera, Calif., Mrs. Mary Peterson, Webbers Falls, Okla.; three sons, Jack, SAn Francisco, Calif., Ace, Susanville, Calif., and Cluade, Monterey, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Susie Carroll, Crain, Texas, Mrs. Paralee Hinch, Blanchard, Okla.; one brother. G. D. Robertsin, Muscatine, Iowa; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Parents are listed on FindAGrave as John B. Robertson, JR (1816-1885) and Eleanor Hankins (1836-1886. He had half-siblings. His father also was married to Mary Ann Jones.
